History

History is the study of past events. It finds its roots in the first depictions that we, as people, have been able to formulate as the beginning of the universe, and in this linear narrative, we find humanity in the heart of modernity, a time which is known present in the days we now live as people. The story of humanity, as well as the whole of the universe, finds genesis in what has been theorized as the ‘Big Bang Theory’, and with this theory, there arises a step by step means by which to gauge the progression of existence from its start to where it resides today.

History is wrought with givings liken to that above, and over the course of its documented progression, a powerful truth has manifested in the lessons it has imparted and continues to impart in kind. These lessons are mere statements which are summated by the understanding that history is what defines the present. All things which have occurred in the past are the sole constituents of what continues to be known as the present day. In this wisdom, there resides an infinitesimally integrated element of profundity and applicability, for if one wishes to live and move with the world in its throes, one must strive to learn from history by building upon the lessons one learns each day.

Given the above, it can never be written enough that history and philosophy are two parts to a balanced whole, due to the capacity to consistently, incessantly, and relentlessly bridge the two fields with elements of wisdom and past events. Wisdom arises in the current moment from actions in the past, and this relationship is one that articulates the steady cyclicality of life. History is the story of the past, and philosophy gifts lessons from past events as interpretations which articulate the embrace of the two fields.

There is no shortcoming in the above statement, and as the two continue to grow and compound in complexity from their basis of interrelation, they inevitably exhibit the perpetual orchestration of developmental fundamentals. It is in these base givings that harmony finds root, as the integral elements of life come to blossom as reflections of the past and the possibilities of the future.
